The SPAC Digital World Acquisition Corp. (DWAC) became one of the hottest meme stocks in history when it merged with Trump Media & Technology Group.
The centerpiece of TMTG will be a social media platform called “Truth Social.”
Former President Trump is determined to compete with modern tech giants like Twitter (TWTR), Facebook (FB), Netflix (NFLX), and Apple (AAPL).
Of course, that has the mainstream media laughing like crazy:

But, we feel obligated to point out an obvious fact: this is the same mainstream that didn’t see the Trump Presidency coming:
So the mainstream media has no credibility on whether or not Trump can succeed with his own social media platform.
But we’ll take a shot at it.
The Path to Victory for Truth Social and Trump Media
There are three big things Trump has to accomplish with Truth Social and Trump Media.
The first is he has to get the thing built.
Social media apps like Twitter and Instagram look simple. But they are constantly monitored and upgraded by thousands of the smartest engineers in the world. It’s no easy task.
So Trump’s going to have to recruit one heck of a tech team just to keep Truth Social up and running on a basic level.
The second is, Trump’s properties need to stay in the traditional big tech ecosystem.
Even if Truth Social is the most kick-ass app in the universe… Apple can still ban it from the App Store, which means it’s dead on arrival.
Plus, odds are companies like Amazon (AMZN) and Microsoft (MSFT) won’t let Trump onto their cloud computing platforms.
And the third thing Trump needs to do is… be Trump.
Truth Social literally needs zero marketing. CNN, MSNBC, the NY Times and the Washington Post are going to give Trump billions of dollars worth of free advertising in the form of negative media coverage.
What do Trump fans LOVE?
Anything traditional left wing media outlets hate.
It’s that simple.
If Trump can do these three things, Truth Social (and whatever else he creates) has a good chance of succeeding.
Think about it.
Fox News is the dominant cable news channel.

Fox’ Greg Gutfeld is beating Colbert, Fallon, and Kimmel in late night ratings:

Plus, right wing friendly social platforms like Rumble, Parler, and Substack have had varying levels of success.
So if you think Trump can’t succeed, you are insane.
And that’s why at some point, Digital World Acquisition (DWAC) is going to be an incredible buy, especially if it rebrands under the Trump name with a Trump ticker like TRMP.
Stay tuned… this story is just getting started.
