The ApesRT was out performing on-the-ground research in New York City yesterday – as it pertains to the gaming market.
We strolled into Micro Center and came across this sign:

As you can see, Micro Center says you can buy only 1 video card every 30 days.
Imagine the supermarket telling you “you can only buy one loaf of bread every 30 days.”
So why is this happening? Why is there such a shortage of video cards?
Well, there’s two things going on.
The first is that Covid-19 had everyone staying home with extra free time. That meant more gaming and streaming. So people were buying up computer parts like crazy, leaving no supply on the market.
And second, Covid has screwed up global supply chains so that it’s harder to get these things in stock.
The result: total sellouts of inventory, which is why Nvidia’s (NVDA) chart looks like this:

So what does this have to do with our #memestock universe?
Well, Corsair Gaming (CRSR) is definitely in our family, and recently fell on earnings.
Corsair makes tons of gaming/streaming computer parts like power supplies, keyboards, mice, microphones, and lighting equipment. And it’s seeing slowing growth.
Even with gaming hot, the supply shortages and increased costs are holding the stock down.
However, it’s still a name to watch because PC gaming ain’t going nowhere. We’re not making buy recommendations. But if Nvidia, AMD (AMD), and the rest of the industry get their logistics in order, Corsair could return to hero status.
Remember the good old days? They were sweet…

people are GPU and CPU mining like crazy too
YEP!
